

About Us:
Aid Cambodia is an International Aid Organization, Based in Seattle, Washington, and Aimed at Providing Economic, Developmental, Legal, and Humanitarian Assistance to Cambodia.
We are an emerging organization that is in the process of securing the necessary funding to implement our programs, and achieve goals that are centered on advancing the interests of the Khmer people.
We welcome input from persons knowledgeable of the economic, political and social climates of Cambodia to help formulate and shape our policies and goals, and we look forward to developing partnerships with similar philanthropically minded firms.
Geography and Facts:
Cambodia covers an area of 181, 035 square km, much of which is low, flat plains, made fertile by the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. Highland mountain areas, plush with timber (and illegal logging), are found to the North and South.
With a population of around 12 million, mainly ethnic Khmer (along with Chinese, and Vietnamese), Phnom Penh serves as the population center and hub for political and commercial activity.
Buddhism is by far the dominant religion among Cambodians, claimed by some 95% of the population, and the region is home to beautiful, ancient Wats, including the world famous Angkor Wat complex near Siem Reap to the Northeast.
